Razer | Gaming Power

After a chance encounter at CES, Razer and 360 decided to join forces and explore concepts of what true gamer-focused power could look like. The result was the development of over a dozen concepts. The following two are my favorites.

Of course the designs needed to exude the Razer brand language which is both powerful and yet controlled.
From there, beyond meeting the obvious power needs of hard-core gamers, we also recognized the desire for more control over their setup.
We incorporated several innovative features such as a centrally located cord that could be directed out front sides or back as desired.
Side facing power ports (AC in back and USB-A and USB-C in front) for greater control over managing cables.
Rotating outlets to fit and direct large plugs more effectively.
As well as a separate mounting plate to easily and precisely locate your power exactly where you want it.
With the Juggernaught, I really wanted to challenge the idea of what a surge protector could be.
Rather than remain hidden under desks, these concepts were intended to be highly-visible (and accessible) additions to any battlestation.
